Rad Host Client is a GUI tool to provide the pc side of the ps2 host filesystem protocol. I have written this to make it easier to use than the ps2client for people who simply want to use it with ps2 software such as uLaunchELF and SMS.

It uses a virtual filesystem for the root directory. Just drag and drop files and directories onto the main window. These will then appear in the first level of the host filesystem.

It automaticcaly connects to the ps2. As you change programs from uLaunchELF to SMS it will automatically attempt to reconnect.

Automatically add inserted CD/DVD discs and USB drives to the root virtual filesystem.

You can now also edit labels after dropping them in.

Now supports writing, deleting and renaming.

Minimize to tray now implemented with icon showing connected status.

OpenVCL is a software development tool that simplifies VU programming by preprocessing source into standard VSM/DSM. It merges both pipelines into one single path, manages register allocation and (in the near future) reschedules instructions for efficient execution.

Changes for v0.3.3:

- Unified error-reporting into a separate class, and changed error display to a more standard appearance.
- Added support for using 'cpp' as preprocessor in addition to gasp. If both are used, cpp will run before gasp, to stay compatible.
- Added commandline-argument to specify alternative for cpp.
- Added input-parsers for gasp and cpp that reflects the original filename and line in errorcodes to assist debugging.
- Wrote a RPN expression-evaluator to assist pseudo-instruction LOI.
- Added initial CLIP operands, but without proper validation.
- Fixed MR32 so that destination-fields are rotated properly.
- Fixed templates for RGET and RNEXT so that they generated proper destination fields.
- Added a threshold for the number of times a dynamic branch can execute in the register allocator. This value has been initially set to 16, but can be changed by the commandline-parameter '--bthres'. This allows programs with a lot of dynamic branches that intersect to resolve.
- Fixed multi-argument operands so that they can leave a trailing comma at the end without issuing any error.
- If the final code-block is not terminated by a --exit/--endexit pair, the code-generator will now fail as it should.
- Added commandline-argument '--version' to show current version.
- Fixed a inconsistency in the argument-extraction.
- Added a library of math-routines for use with LOI.

This software is a kind of swiss army knife for CD handling purpose, that I created for my own usage. As a side effect, it can generate iso files, so that's the reason I finally put it there, since it can be used by people to generate their homebrew iso files (and I also hate keeping tools for myself only). However, the whole software is really bloated, so, beginners might get utterly confused by it.

It is written in C++, and contains lots of nested (nasty) classes in it. So, reading the provided source is at your own risk. I only provide the source for people's curiosity. I don't expect people to actually compile it.


The whole concept is based on a lot of more or less iso-related classes, which are available thru a scripting interface, using lua. If you are not familiar with LUA, consider reading documents at http://www.lua.org/ before trying using cd-tool. I provided two LUA examples, one very easy, which I use to generate PS2Link iso files, and one very complex, which I wrote for one of my translation hacking work.

BootAdvance was designed to boot multple programs off the ps2 devices such as memorycard,mass,HDD,rom0.... . It was designed to be small in size and and simple to use and have the look of GRUB for linux.
