New users should start with reading the tutorials and generally get used to the structure of the site. The site is built using knowledge base software that allows pages to be modified by registers users. If you get stuck, read the forums.

The ps2dev.org web site hosts a Subversion repository for projects. This has been used to successfully store and track the changes for PS2SDK, PSPSDK, and many other projects. Everyone has read access to the repository using a subversion client. If you would like write access to the repository send a private message via forums to Oobles.

There are some really basic rules for users with write access to our subversion repository:

• All projects must have some kind of license.
• If you're committing to someone else's project you should discuss changes with the project owner. For group projects like PSPSDK you should discuss any changes on IRC #pspdev or #ps2dev channels. Small bug fixes do not need discussion.
• Do not add code from incompatible licenses. Check licenses of projects before committing.
• Copyright notices should have real names. Aliases are not useful for copyright notices.
